Refinancing Home Mortgage
In: Mortgage Lenders
1 May 2010Hi. Does anyone know of any good lenders for people with poor credit? I’d like to be able to get a mortgage of up to $50,000. Thank you for your help.
This is about mortgage information questions.

If you live in the United States, look into an FHA loan. If you have been in the service, a VA loan is another possibility. Minimum down payment will be 3.5%, higher if your credit is poor but should not be over 10%. It is difficult for people with poor credit to get conventional bank financing and even if you did manage to find a lender such as a finance company who would be willing to take a chance, your interest rate would be astronomical.

You need to try and find an owner finance home, co-signer or a ton of money down. Nobody will finance bad credit anymore.

Bad credit mortgage and second mortgages lenders are available everywhere. One good place i started was online. There are litteraly thousands of bad credit mortgage lenders online that an help you. If i have to name a few, GMAC, EMC, Chase home and Nationwide homes. They operate throughout most states and is relatively easy to obtain. A good source that i have used is second-mortgages.yolasite
