Lending Tree Mortgage??

When a company like lending tree does a credit inquiry for a mortgage, does it affect your credit?

Yes it does…so that means when you do an application with Lending Tree, and they send it out to oh, 200 brokers or so?

That means that every one of them is going to pull your credit.

NEVER deal with internet-based mortgage companies….never.

The good news: All mortgage inquiries taken out within the same 10 calender says counts as ONE inquiry in you credit…regardless if it was pulled once or 200 times…but it must be within the same time period.

It used to drop your score by 7 points. It warned that you were looking to increase your debt. No longer. Now it has no affect. /
