Is there a bank to take on Social Security disability as income to purchase a home?

In: Mortgage Loan

I try to buy a duplex. I have already previously approved for the amount needed to purchase. But now my lender told me that my award letter from social security is not good enough and I need to write the Social Security say to me a letter that my permanent disability, and probably more than is in the last three years.

My mortgage broker told me the truth. I received that payment for 6 years and just went through a revision of my compensation for a further three years. I am 100% totally disabled from definitions of social security and my payments will be continued and completed.

I pointed out to the broker that someone with a job could be fired tomorrow. I have and I will continue to collect money for years. If this is not my income more stable?

What should I do?

Why do you complain?
If you have recently been awarded a further three years income limit for SSI, you just received a letter (unless you have proof they have already written) that you wish to receive your benefits for the next three years.

It appears that you worked up a little more you can found correct.

Yes, your broker probably the truth is to say. It is much harder to get a mortgage these days after the debacle! Lenders want to know you are good for him!
