Refinancing Home Mortgage
In: Mortgage Rate
14 Apr 2010I am in the process of building a house, and can lock in my 30 year fixed rate within one month of completion. Until I lock in my 30 year fixed rate, I have a temporary construction rate (I’m not sure if it’s fixed or not). The house should be completed close to January 1st. How will today’s cut affect me?
This is about mortgage information questions.

Any decrease is good for the consumer, that being said, when you do lock, try for a 45 day lock, this will build in a buffer, in case your builder has trouble getting final CofO. Which could delay your closing.Good Luck!
