8 Jun 2010I am in the process of negotiating a loan modification for our mortgage. Is it always this hard? Do you really have to negotiate constantly with the mortgage company? It seems like its never going to end.

Not to difficult we did it it all depends who you have your home loan with. It really does work i was paying 1.590 a month and know i am paying 758.00 YES it does work i told all my friends that are in need of some help and they also did it. Try it, they ask for a few things and you do have to wait like 90 days but it is worth the wait.

Negotiating with your mortgage company can be difficult and time consuming. That is why many people choose to hire a company to do it for them.
That being said you can do it yourself. There are books and do it yourself kits that provide you with advice, documents and even scripts to use when speaking with your lender. My wife and i did it ourselves based on the information we got in a do it yourself type of kit.
