You can have no complaints, because they have changed their name … if you found it on the net, do a WHOIS search on their domain name and see if the domain was purchased. If in the past 6 mos or a year, it’s probably a good bet that you can kiss your money goodbye, and you will not make the change.
You have really done it yourself. You just have to hold him, then speak with the loss mitigation section to your lender.
Paying for a loan mod is a very common scam these days, because people believe so desperate, they can stay in their homes.
