Can I transfer my name to the latest mortgage?

My fiance is planning to buy a house, and I wonder if my name later to do in the future because I live with him and help him to fix the house. I say this because I think about the consequences that might arise in the future. We want to get married than three years. So what is the difference between a mortgage and a title?

The title is the ownership of the house, it is counted by the county.
